ANTHOLOGY SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

Accepted Pieces:

| Short Fiction, Creative Nonfiction, Personal Essays: 1000-3000 words

| Poetry: Up to 2 poems

| Flash Fiction: Up to 500 words

|A person may submit more than one piece of work for the above genres. For example, a single person could submit 2 flash fiction pieces and 2 poems.*

*Please note that the maximum number of pieces published by a single author within a volume is 2.

FORMAT

Please complete the form below for each piece. You will not be able to upload more than one file per submission, but multiple submissions are allowed.

|Each piece must be uploaded at the bottom of the form as a PDF file and MUST be named in the following convention

• • Title_FirstInitalLastName_Genre_
  • (i.e., Clavis_DMiller_Fiction)

| Your uploaded document must include a title page containing the following elements:

• Story title
• Author name
• Genre
• Word Count

Please do not upload a single document with more than one piece.

*If these guidelines are not followed, you will not be accepted.

SUBMISSION ADVISORY

The Bolo Tie Collective reserves the right to reject submissions on the following grounds:
| Submissions must be original and unpublished (exceptions made for digital self-publication such as a blog or website) If it is found that the work is unoriginal, you will not be accepted, as well as your name being flagged for future submissions.

| Content must be fully formed but  MUST go through a substantive and copy-editing process. This includes poetry.

| Submissions are open to all genres; however, discriminatory content and unwarranted hate, bigotry, and shaming will not be accepted

|Profanity, gore, and sexual content are acceptable but must be used in an appropriate context
